Beautiful Weather

         February is shutting down, giving us another gorgeous day to be outside. My time is very limited this morning but I took a few minutes to drive on a gravel road and hike a solitude trail. No I'm not sharing the location today. This spot is free from liter and graffiti, would like for it to remain that way.

The turtle / slider and I connected a few days ago, three different days he has observed my frame standing on the shore appreciating his good looks as he basked in the warm sun. The only time we'll have a connection is when he's logged on!  [ that was bad ]

New to me Trail

      I followed Foothills Trail

      To this signage or two!

A trail I have not hiked, I assumed it must be fairly new within the last couple of years. Down to the trailhead I went and found it easy enough based on the sign for Headwaters State Forest. It was over a mile to this spot and it's connection with the Foothills Trail. That hike to the overlook will be for another day. An uphill climb but doable for even an old man, few level places to ease the leg muscles. One way down going back. 

I recommend this hike, a nice walk in the woods.
