Just for your information! South Carolina Parks and Duke Energy have improved and updated the boat ramps at both of the remote ramps on Lake Jocassee. The big hole they fixed last year is now a brand spankin' new ramp. The water was about 25 feet below full pond when I took this picture, it is now almost at full pond.

I have not been able to use this ramp yet, but hopefully next week I can put my canoe in the water. They have also built restrooms which is a good thing to have. They are really just fancy outhouses, but who cares, much better than nothing!

The other remote boat ramp which is used mostly by Divers has also been upgraded and some picnic tables have been installed.

Let us enjoy Lake Jocassee this summer and be safe! The main boat ramp is always open and busy during the weekends.
