          Have been preparing for a backpacking trip. I will leave the Upstate of SC and travel to the border of KY and Tenn. to hike the North /South Trail in the Land Between the Lakes Region. Will be backpacking with an old friend from High School- old in every sense of the word- we are being conservative and giving our self's ten days, but should do it quicker than that. Yes, I'm leaving Gracie home and she is not pleased with these plans. She will be blogging and posting it this weekend, who knows what story she will tell! If and when I return I will report on the trip and hope to take several pictures to share, have two batteries for camera, and lots of space on card.
